This full-day experience takes you from Porto to the Arouca Geopark, one of Portugal’s most impressive natural destinations.
After pick-up at your accommodation, you will travel to the Paiva River valley, where the adventure begins with the crossing of the “516 Arouca” suspension bridge. Suspended 175 metres above the river, this is one of the longest pedestrian bridges in the world and offers a truly unique perspective over the landscape.
Following the bridge crossing, you will walk along the Paiva Walkways, an 8 km wooden trail that follows the river through cliffs, forests and untouched natural scenery. The route is well-structured but physically engaging, making it ideal for active travellers.
